Introduced in 2006, Nobile Shinn boards set new levels in both technology and finish. Designed to ride the way Mark Shinn does, the designer of the Nobile boards, these boards are all about comfort, performance and above all versatility. Mark Shinn didn`t want to have separate boards for every occasion, He liked to have one board that can do it all, freestyle, small waves, big air, light winds, strong winds whatever. Dual Flex Control 3-D Mould In 2006 Nobile introduced their first multi step 3-D deck mould on the Shinn boards. The Dual Flex mould ensures plenty of “pop” whilst still enabling smooth, fast turning and total comfort in chop. The Dual flex control mould proved so effective that the concept is now featured in the 2007 666 and 666 EXT ranges. Shinn Rocker R52/25 This year the Nobile Shinn range features our new R52/25 rocker line. This rocker offers a flatter centre section for faster planing and incredible grip with higher radius tips to improve both turning ability and control at speed. XCS Outline To further improve the versatility of the Shinn models Nobile modified the 2006 outline heavily. The centre sections of the board have been both widened and straightened out enhancing straight line grip and upwind ability whilst the tips have had their radius increased allowing faster and more radical turning. Combined with the thinner side wall (1.3mm down fromm 1.8mm) and the new R52/25 rocker line the Shinn board is riding smoother than ever yet retains it’s aggressive performance from last year.
